Dr. James E.K. Hildreth

Dr. Hildreth, along with the rest of his research colleagues at Nashville’s Meharry Medical College, was honored as a Tennessean of the Year in 2009.  His ongoing work in developing an odorless, undetectable cream that can destroy the HIV virus may one day help stop the disease's spread around the globe.  Dr. Hildreth will speak about the medical strategies that work in concert with accepted behaviors in populations at risk for HIV/AIDS.
